Lena was originally from Asheville, North Carolina. When she was in University, their class took a trip to Charlotte, visiting attractions like the Discovery Place and Levine Museum of the New South. That trip was when she started falling in love with the city, prompting her to move to Charlotte after graduation. She says what she loves most about Queen City is how it balances city vibes with southern charm.
