We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Workspace amenities – We looked for coworking spaces with high-speed internet, meeting rooms, printing services, and extra perks like coffee, kitchens, or wellness programs.

Work environment – We looked at different places to work and made sure they were cozy, well-lit, and either quiet or social to suit different ways of working.

Accessibility and flexibility – We considered locations that are easy to get to, offer flexible hours, and provide varied membership options, including daily or drop-in rates.

Community and networking – We checked out shared workspaces that encourage a friendly atmosphere, organize events, and provide chances for professionals to meet and work together.

Price – We selected coworking spaces that offer clear, reasonable pricing, whether for daily use or long-term memberships, ensuring the value matches the cost of amenities and services.

Working from home can start great, but it doesn’t take long before the comfort of your couch, or that new ergonomic chair, starts working against you.

Your body knows it’s a place to relax, not grind through deadlines, and hopping from one cafe to another eventually loses its charm, too. When that happens, a dedicated workspace can make all the difference.

So we reviewed the best coworking spaces in Charlotte to help you get the perks of an office and then some—keep reading to find the one that fits your style and workflow.

Options and flexibility are what we like about Hygge Coworking. Whether you just need a hot-desk in a shared room, a dedicated desk that feels like your own, or a private office for a team meeting, they have the facilities and resources to accommodate you.

Speaking of private spaces, other than private offices and meeting rooms, they also have phone booths for calls, virtual meetings, or voice recordings.

That said, we love how you can easily take advantage of their perks and amenities, like speedy WiFi, whiteboards, projector/TV-monitor setups, office supplies, water, coffee, and tea—basically anything you might need for work. You can even do some printing and mailing under one roof.

Keep in mind that most of the perks are part of their membership, even the 24/7 access and entry to all locations. So, day-pass holders would have to follow limited hours, and weekends are a no-go.

Still, we appreciate that you can view their rates on their website and can easily decide from there—plus, their pricing is reasonable.

Pros

  • Has flexible workspace types
  • 24/7 access for members
  • Reasonable rates
  • Well-equipped amenities
  • Offers private spaces
  • Members get access to all locations

Cons

  • Day-pass holders follow limited hours

One of the main features we love about Industrious is that members can get complimentary daily breakfast, coffee, snacks, and other stocked beverages. This makes long workdays more bearable, and you don’t have to step out for a drink or snack.

They have a variety of workspace options, such as shared desks and even private offices or meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 70 people. Their flexible capacity means you can do workshops, gatherings, and presentations without a hitch.

And we appreciate their thoughtful design, ironically, it doesn’t feel too “industrial” like their name Industrius. We found the place to have a comfy yet professional vibe, thanks to its cafe-style amenities and wellness room.

The catch? Well, to get the most out of your experience and truly benefit from their perks, you’ll have to be a member first, but their rates can be quite pricey.

Nonetheless, their location is convenient since it’s near public transit, shops, restaurants, and more, making it a solid choice.

Pros

  • Daily breakfast, snacks, and beverage perks
  • Multiple workspace types
  • 24/7 access for members
  • Thoughtfully-designed workspace
  • Convenient location
  • Virtual office and mailing services

Cons

  • Memberships can be pricey

CoCoTiv Coworking might feel like a nontoxic love bombing since members get all-inclusive amenities from day one, like drinks, printing credits, phone booths, mail services, and more. You can basically show up with your laptop and get straight to work.

And if you do need help, we have to give props to their staff and community managers for being incredibly approachable and accommodating to any concerns, or if you need help with scheduling and equipment.

Also, if you’re open to creating networks and relationships, their regular events are a good place to start, especially for collaborations or just wanting to meet like-minded professionals.

That’s not to take away from their actual workspace. In fact, we like their design and setup, offering you seamless options for quiet booths to collaborative environments.

But we do think it’s a bummer that they don’t focus on day passes, so you’ll have to jump on their monthly memberships to get the full experience.

  • All-inclusive amenities
  • Productive workspaces
  • Free parking and easy commute
  • Holds regular networking events
  • Has a virtual office and mailbox service

The Connect offers flexible membership plans, and we like that their starting rates are quite modest. To give you an idea, their flex pass starts at around $99/month for limited visits, which is quite a steal considering the rates of other coworking spaces.

Hopping on to their plans will give you immediate access to their amenities, like high-speed WiFi, secure printing, reception stocked kitsch, phone booths, and more.

Another thing that caught our attention is the dedicated desk perks you can score; think locked cabinets or lockers, ergonomic chairs, a monitor option, and even conference hours. A great deal if you need stability, storage, and a more permanent setup.

Here’s the thing, though: even for members, you don’t exactly get 24/7 access; the latest would be until 11 in the evening, which can be a dealbreaker if you work past that.

Other than that, their scalable pricing is a big plus for us, and you can try out their free day of coworking to check if the place suits you.

Pros

  • Has flexible membership plans
  • Great dedicated desk perks
  • All-in amenities
  • Offers a free day of coworking

Cons

  • Doesn’t offer 24/7 access for workspaces

Facilities are first class

Right off the bat, we’re drawn by the modern workspace of Venture X Charlotte, featuring a loft-style design with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a rooftop deck with skyline views, lounge areas, a cafe, and a contemporary interior.

On top of that, their list of amenities really seals the deal. With a secure and fast internet, equipped meeting rooms, printing, mailing, and storage that make working here more productive, and not a waste of money.

Price-wise, we’re glad that their pricing goes from minimal to premium, so you can scale up or down. Just note that lower-level passes and plans won’t give you 34/7 access.

The good news is that you can smoothly move between plans or membership types, which is crucial, especially for growing businesses or if your needs change.

Lastly, you can even start to grow your network and relationships since they have a community vibe going on.

Pros

  • Modern workspace environment
  • Various pricing tiers
  • Can move between memberships
  • Full suite of amenities

Cons

  • Steep private office rates
  • Limited access for lower-level plans
