If you’re a fan of vintage-chic party vibes, you’re going to want The Tipsy Traveler on your radar. They’ve brilliantly converted a 1979 horse trailer into a mobile bar, and honestly, it’s the first thing we noticed!

They’re fully insured, super transparent with their pricing, and open about their limits—clients highlighted this! Now, their packages are super clear-cut: you get expert bartenders, all your mixers and garnishes, signature cocktails, and plenty of extras.

Speaking of extras, if you want to keep everyone entertained, you can throw in board games or even a coffee service for a fun twist (seriously, the coffee add-on is great for late-night energy boosts).

They’ve got a flexible menu consultation process, which means your drink list is totally tailored to your taste and your party’s vibe.

Unfortunately, Tipsy Traveler is best suited for groups under 50, and while they do handle bigger parties with enough advance notice, larger events might require extra planning.

Pros

  • Unique vintage horse trailer design
  • Customizable drink menus
  • Friendly, professional staff
  • Board games and coffee service add-ons
  • Fully insured, including liquor liability

Cons

  • Best suited for events under 50 guests

Adorable bar trailer

“We hired the Tipsy Traveler for our event in the Hamptons, and they were absolutely fantastic! The team was professional, friendly, and made everything so easy. Their bar trailer is not only adorable but also such a fun centerpiece for the party. Guests loved it, and the drinks were great. Highly recommend!”

We actually had a blast checking out Libations Mobile Bar, and Ariel Evans, the owner, absolutely deserves all the hype her team gets in Charlotte. What stood out to us right away was how easygoing and transparent the whole service is.

She explains everything thoroughly, from menu planning and mixers to figuring out exactly how much booze you need (if you’re anything like us, you don’t want to be stuck with leftover vodka or run out halfway through).

We can say that Ariel is super hands-on—a lot of clients agreed with us on this part! Add to that, we also love how all their bars are that soft, neutral style—seriously, no worrying about the bar clashing with your decor.

And if you want extra perks, the mentorship sessions are actually legit; people told us Ariel keeps the vibe fun with cocktail games and conversation starters!

The only caveat is that if your guest list crosses 60, you’ll need to set up your own bar (they’ll still bartend). Also, they ask for half down upfront and the rest paid two weeks before your event, so booking early is a must.

Pros

  • Neutral bar design
  • Full-service bar planning and menu creation
  • Experienced, friendly bartenders
  • Mobile bar mentorship available
  • Fun cocktail games and conversation starters

Cons

  • 60 guests maximum
  • Final payment due two weeks before the event

Beautiful setup and delicious cocktails

“Had the best time with Libations Mobile Bar! Ariel was so patient, informative and helpful with helping me pick the cocktail menu and even down to the drink menu sign design and etc! The set up was so beautiful, cocktails were absolutely fantastic and so delish and even provided mocktail options too!! She made my 30th birthday celebration one to remember!! Def make sure to book Libations Mobile Bar for all your party events, I know I will!!”

Interactive classes with top-notch service

“We had an absolute blast with Libations Mobile Bar for our at home cocktail class! From start to finish, Ariel (the owner) handled everything with total professionalism. Her assistant T provided timely communication, and a seamless setup once she arrived. The class was the perfect mix of fun, learning, and laughter. The drinks were delicious (and strong in the best way 😏). If you’re looking for something unique to do with friends, this is IT. We had a TIME!! 🍹✨”

The Old Fashioned Mobile Bar operates out of a gorgeously refurbished 1964 Shasta camper that honestly brings a bit of retro charm wherever they park.

If your Pinterest board is full of vintage vibes or you just want something that’ll make your guests linger by the bar, their camper really can’t be beat.

Even if your venue’s more compact, they’ve thought of that, too—they’ll roll up with their mini bar to work those tight spaces, so nobody misses out!

We love that they’re not just about the aesthetic, either; their three-tap system is genius for keeping the drinks flowing. Beer, wine, cocktails, or mocktails—they’ll sort you out, and they don’t mess around with their menus.

Past clients we messaged couldn’t stop talking about how customizable and accommodating their options were. They’re upfront about how everything works, thanks to their super clear process.

However, you’ll want to book way in advance because they’re almost always in demand, especially since their bar is being rented for photoshoots, too!

Pros

  • Unique refurbished 1964 Shasta camper
  • Mini bar option for smaller locations
  • Three-tap keg system for variety
  • Highly customizable drink selection
  • Available for photoshoots
  • Transparent booking process

Cons

  • High demand; limited availability
  • Operating hours not specified

Friendly service with seamless planning

“The old fashioned mobile bar hosted our office holiday party this weekend and we had a BLAST! The bartender was so friendly and made the most delicious cocktails. The planning process was also seamless and so easy. Highly recommend for your next party whether it’s in your backyard or your office!”

Customized menus with attentive detail

“I hosted an event at my home and hired the old fashioned mobile bar, I worked closely with Erin. She paid attention to every detail and helped me make a custom menu (cocktails and mocktails). I was able to enjoy myself at my party instead of refilling the bar. Really cool business concept and female founded!”

First off, we love that The Drunken Hive is totally mobile with setups that actually feel special—like their Queen Bee trailer, which is basically a showstopper wherever it parks.

The minimalist Buzzed Bliss is also just as versatile, and the Mini Buzz is great if you’re keeping the guest list smaller but still want the bar personalized (we saw one fully decked out for a birthday, and it was a hit).

What really sold us, though, was the drink lineup. It’s not just the usual cocktails and beer—they go the extra mile with wine, mocktails, hot chocolate, coffee, or even cotton candy if you’re up for it.

We talked to a few past clients, and the feedback is consistent: everyone raves about how smoothly things run! Apparently, the team has legit hospitality backgrounds, and it shows—from first inquiry to teardown, they’re on it and happy to customize everything!

Our one heads-up: there’s a three-hour minimum you need to commit to, so super short events won’t work.

Pros

  • Wide variety of drinks
  • Customizable bar fronts and menu options
  • Experienced team
  • Great for personalizing events
  • Responsive communication
  • Suitable for both large and intimate gatherings

Cons

  • 3-hour minimum booking required

Super accommodating and detail-oriented

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We hired The Drunken Hive Mobile Bar for my baby shower! My guests and I loved her drinks (a mock tail for me of course). The owner was very accommodating and helped me pick all the details that matched our theme perfectly. Will definitely be hiring her again for all our future events. Thank you Drunken Hive Bar!”

Personalized menu and thoughtful customization

“I was thoroughly impressed with the mobile bar service and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their event. It truly added a special touch and made the event unforgettable.

Maria and her team took every detail to the next level, she asked favorite colors, theme, favorite fruits and made a menu just for us.

Can’t wait for another party. Highly recommended”

The Wandering Social’s got this mix of bars (think: a design-patented tap truck, the flagship camper, a customizable tap bar, a frosé cart, and a tap wall), and they all have a clean, classic look.

What really stuck out to us, though, was how much they focus on the experience. The bartenders are not only TIPS-certified (big peace of mind there) but also seriously friendly and on top of every detail.

And if you want to make your event extra memorable, their camper photo booth, “Betty,” is a total crowd-pleaser and comes packed with creative props and custom prints.

One thing that makes them stand out is their concierge service for alcohol ordering and delivery, which takes away so much of the usual hassle. Their whole process is really transparent, though you do have to reach out for a quote since they price based on event details.

The only slight hiccup is that they book up fast—you absolutely need to reserve them early.

Pros

  • Versatile bar options
  • High-quality, house-made mixers
  • Unique air-conditioned camper photo booth
  • White-glove alcohol concierge service
  • TIPS-certified bartenders
  • Transparent booking

Cons

  • High demand; limited availability
  • Operating hours not specified

Incredible creativity and personal touch

“The Wandering Social is an absolute gem.

Charlene, owner and operator is truly amazing. I’ve used her company for several events and it’s always an hit! Easy and clear communicator, and goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are totally happy.  She is an incredibly creative designer who pours her heart into everything she does. Her attention to detail truly brings your event to the next level. She is consistently bringing kindness, and genuine care to every interaction. Working with her is such a joy. If you’re looking for someone who delivers beautiful work and an even more beautiful experience, look no further. I could not recommend enough!!!”

Thoughtful recommendations

“I cannot recommend The Wandering Social highly enough! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Charlene. She listened carefully to our ideas and was able to make recommendations that made our party exactly what we wanted it to be. We will definitely use them again!”
