We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Surgeon Expertise and Credentials: We looked for specialists with solid experience and a strong track record. Having a highly qualified surgeon helped make sure even complicated procedures were safe and successful.

Technology and Techniques: Clinics that used the latest equipment could offer better diagnostics and less invasive treatments. We checked if they had updated tech, like 3D imaging and advanced surgical tools.

Patient Care and Comfort: Surgery can make anyone nervous, so great care and good pain management really mattered. We focused on places that created a calm atmosphere and gave full support after your procedure.

Pricing and Transparency: You need to know what you’re paying for. We chose clinics that were upfront about costs, so you wouldn’t be surprised by unexpected bills later on.

Reputation and Customer Feedback: Positive reviews are a sign of great service. We paid close attention to real patient feedback about the care they received and how happy they were with their results.

Finding a trustworthy specialist for your dental health is a big deal, especially if you need more than just your regular checkup. Maybe your dentist recommended you see an oral surgeon, or maybe you’re dealing with some jaw issues on your own.

Highly recommend

Dr. Brian Farrell and his team were amazing. They were able to get me an appointment for jaw surgery quickly and the procedure went really well. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. He’s also really easy to talk to and super chill. I highly recommend him.

All great results!

Dr Bart Ferrell is very confident and competent. He worked with me to make sure I was comfortable during the process. He has done implants on one son and jaw surgery on the other. All great results! I won’t consider any other oral surgeon!

Customer Reviews:

The entire process was great

Very efficient and attentive staff. Dr. Peleaux took time to thoughtfully and carefully explain the recommended procedure, and then completed the procedure very efficiently. I knew the cost and timing up front and the entire process was great (or as great as oral surgery can be).

Recommended

Had my consultation here after being quoted really high at another surgeons office. The pricing was much better here, and the doctor and office staff were incredible. They did a good job of preparing me for surgery, and the doctor had a very calming demeanor that made me not worry. Recovery was great after the initial first few days of pain, and the doctor made sure that I felt comfortable enough to check in and follow up if I had any further issues. I would recommend this office and doctor specifically over any others I’ve been to.

Customer Reviews:

Fantastic oral surgeon

My daughter had jaw surgery with Dr Talent 10 years ago before braces. Then my husband and I both needed implants. I felt totally confident and at ease with Dr Talent. He is a fantastic oral surgeon and explains everything to his patients

Highly recommend

I visited Southeast Oral & Maxillofacial which were referred to me by my dentist for a tooth extraction and possible dental implant or dental bridge. Dr. Swann was very personable and informative and took sufficient time to explain to me all my options. At my extraction visit, the procedure was relatively pain free and fast. I would highly recommend Dr. Swann for your oral dental needs. I would also like to commend their staff who were very friendly and helpful.

The best oral surgery location

Hands down the best oral surgery location I could’ve chosen! The staff; from the front desk, to Yerma, to Dr. Buchanan were all incredibly kind and explained everything in regards to my procedure perfectly. Not only that, but I barely had any swelling and called me hours later to check how I was doing and remind me of some things. Such a wonderful experience and I would recommend North Charlotte Oral Surgery to anyone!!

Feeling great

I had a wonderful experience with N. Charlotte center for oral surgery. I went in super nervous about the process but they were thorough, kind, and well informed. 1 week post op and feeling great! Thank you team!

5. Oral Surgery Associates of Charlotte

oral-surgery-associates-of-charlotte

Website: https://www.oralsurgeryassociatescharlotte.com/

Address: 5700 University Pointe Blvd, Suite 104

Contact: 704-549-8020

Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Getting a quicker, less painful recovery is always the goal when you’re scheduling any facial or jaw procedure.

Fortunately, Oral Surgery Associates of Charlotte uses minimally invasive techniques like Radiofrequency and low-radiation 3D Cone-Beam Technology. This really helps cut down on pain and swelling after surgery.

Their board-certified surgeons are great at handling complicated issues, like facial pain or TMJ disorders.

And because they focus on protecting your tissues, you can usually expect less bleeding and a much faster healing process.

If your health care also involves other providers, like a thyroid specialist, they’re able to coordinate complex procedures in a hospital setting when general anesthesia is needed.

But remember, while parking is available, the lot often fills up during busy midday hours since it’s close to a major retail spot.

Pros

  • Minimally invasive surgical techniques
  • Low-radiation 3D Cone-Beam Technology
  • Comprehensive complex issue diagnosis
  • Seamless hospital procedure coordination

Cons

  • Parking lot gets crowded midday

Customer Reviews:

Very welcoming environment

I genuinely recommend this place as someone who is terrified of oral procedures, Oral Surgery Associates of Charlotte, was a very welcoming environment. As soon as you walk in the door, I was greeted by their staff. Luis D, their staff collected my information; saw me very nervous. I told him it was due to my past experiences. He ensured I was under the perfect hands with their team. After so many traumatic dental visits elsewhere, I think I have overcome of this fear thanks to ORAL SURGERY ASSOCIATES OF CHARLOTTE!

Wonderful experience

My son and I had a wonderful experience with Dr Naidu and his staff. Everyone from the front office team to his surgical assistants were all kind and informative. Dr Naidu took the time to thoroughly explain everything to my son and even wrote him additional post op instructions specific to him and his surgery. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience than what we had with Dr Naidu and his team!
