I really have to work on my selective procrastination since I’m diligent at everything else. I hyped myself up to call a few tree removal contractors in Charlotte, but they’re among these three things: unresponsive, unavailable, or overpriced. Quite frustrating!
But eventually, my long search gave me the fruit of my labor—I finally had a list of reliable options with me! So whether you’re a homeowner, property manager, landscaper, or garden enthusiast, here’s a review of some of my best picks below.

I reckon this makes its team a one-stop hub for all things tree removal in Charlotte. Plus, it’s amenable to emergency services, making the team very reliable in my eyes.
Also, a client I had a chat with commended the team’s tidiness. They made sure that they completed the job without damaging other flowers and shrubs in the area, which shows me their great care and awareness.
I also appreciate that these tree removers are experts with trees and limbs near power and utility lines. For me, this ensures the safety of both workers and clients.
However, a former client mentioned that this company’s fees are a tad higher than those of others. While there are many factors to consider for the best value, I still suggest shopping around for quotes before deciding.

I’m also stoked about its big online gallery, which I believe gives an idea of how its removers navigate a good range of its previous worksites.
Additionally, I love that clients don’t have to worry about working around the company’s schedule since its team is available 24/7, 365 days a year. That means there’s always a staff member waiting to answer the phone.
Should you want to get a quote online, its contact form already asks for several essential client information (name, email, phone, complete address in separate fields, service type, and notes) so you can submit a proper quote request.
Because from what I noticed, other companies offer a much more basic one, which I feel can be more tedious or less user-friendly (especially for older clients).
That said, I feel the team might be overqualified if your space is slightly smaller than what it usually works on. It’s smart to discuss the project size thoroughly beforehand to be sure.

I’m impressed by its broad range of services too. Besides tree and stump removal, it provides pruning, trimming, fertilization, and crown reductions. The way I see it, you can rely on the team for both short- and long-term services.
You can also call its crew after a storm as well. One client I spoke with raved about how these pros safely and carefully cut down and hauled away his damaged trees. They can work with any tree size, so I bet they can work on most project sizes too!
Other than that, you’ll be working directly with the company’s owner himself. This reassures me that you’ll get quality services. You can take a peek at its extensive website gallery as well—it’s got lots of clear and diverse project photos.
But unlike other tree removers in the city, just keep in mind that this one isn’t accessible 24/7.

Monster Tree Service is a tree removal company to consider if you lack the time or energy for regular yard upkeep for a residential or commercial property.
It has already worked on many types of trees, and I like that its website mentions notable examples. This includes red maple, southern magnolia, and loblolly pine, which are pretty diverse in size—they basically go from around 40 to 90 feet tall!
It’s also fascinating to me how it uses an AI chat to answer potential clients’ questions online. This shows me the company’s innovation and creativity in ensuring all basic questions are answered before consultation, saving everyone time.
I find it handy that there are multiple ways to reach the team as well. You can text or email them. Otherwise, you can always ask for a callback.
Do note that this company mostly serves South Charlotte, though. If you’re farther from the metro area, it’s best to mention this to the team right away to see if they can make accommodations.

One client I had a chat with even commended how informative its team is. I appreciate experts who can explain their work simply, so that clients aren’t kept in the dark.
It’s also helpful for me that it has quite a big team. Besides arborists or tree specialists, it’s got a couple of horticulturists (professionals who study flowers, fruits, and vegetables) to ensure healthy plant growth. Great for maintenance, in my opinion.
You can even download its Certificate of Insurance (COI) on its website. For me, this adds credibility and saves time, rather than having to ask for it during your initial consultation.
The only drawback I can see is that its team isn’t available on weekends. If interested, you’ll most likely have to make time to reach the staff on a typical workday.
