From the moment you step inside Copper Willow Salon, the warm, thoughtful atmosphere is immediate. Large windows pull in tons of natural light, illuminating an airy, plant-filled layout that strikes the perfect balance between communal energy and personal privacy.
On the technical side, the team’s skill set is impressively diverse. We were particularly struck by natural, lived-in color results, and their portfolio showcases expert-level classic blonding and seamless balayage.
Copper Willow Salon is also a solid aesthetic hub. Beyond hair, there’s brow lamination, lash lifts, permanent makeup, and those cute mini tattoos—always something happening at each station.
What we appreciated the most, however, is their commitment to sustainability. They exclusively use Davines products—great for those prioritizing eco-friendly ingredients.
Just a heads up: the salon operates on an appointment-only basis and does not accept walk-ins. Given their popularity in the OKC area, you’ll definitely want to plan your visit well in advance.

Shina Salon really impressed us with how much they pack into their lineup. Their team handles everything from standard cuts and color to extensions, keratin, and specialized Bioionic treatments that actually work for challenging hair types.
We also found that they offer full nail and skincare services—think facials, chemical peels, mani-pedis—instead of the usual “hair only.” This breadth of services makes things simpler for regulars wanting to update everything at once.
We also spoke with several of their long-time clients, and the Shine Service Guarantee comes up a lot. Folks love knowing the salon stands by their work and will fix things if needed.

He helped me find the right products for my hair as I have been battling oil scalp and sweaty scalp for as long as I could remember… then it intensified.. overall I am an active fitness girly. Clients consistently praise the staff for being straightforward and informative, rather than pushy with their products.
We also liked how eyebrow and facial waxing services are cleanly bundled into their menu, with extra options like lamination, tinting, and henna brows.
However, we noticed that OA doesn’t have nail and makeup services, so it’s strictly a hair-and-brows destination for now. Still, we appreciated how upfront they are about pricing and availability.

“Ive had the same haircut for quite some time so I reached out to OA for a cut and they scheduled me with SH. She did amazing work, super professional and I love my haircut. It’s no surprise that consultations here are anything but rushed. Everyone gets a truly personalized plan, from custom cuts to next-level color work and luxury extensions (wefts, I-tips, K-tips, tape-ins).
Patrons we spoke to highlighted how Kristi checks in about goals, lifestyle, and even long-term hair health. Furthermore, the menu covers women’s, men’s, and kids’ cuts, precision color (balayage, babylights, and even color correction), all with up-front pricing.
They even have junior stylist options at a more accessible rate, along with an honest policy for consultations and touch-ups. We’ve also heard lots of positive feedback around thorough aftercare instructions and scalp and bond-building treatments.
The only downside? No makeup services—so it’s strictly hair here.
