It was a no-brainer to include Charlotte Pavers and Stone because of their 30+ years of experience in the field. We were further impressed to see how few negative reviews they’ve garnered over the years regarding their workers and workmanship quality.

“We had Charlotte Pavers and Stone out to give us a quote for cleaning a VERY DIRTY paver walkway, two patios, and a stone fireplace. We were given a good price and contracted them to do the job.
The fireplace was pressure-washed. This took a considerable amount of time because of all of the grime, etc.
Next, the biggest part of the job consisted of pressure washing and redoing the polymeric sand on a long paver walkway to the backyard and two patio areas. After pressure washing, they made sure any old/loose sand product was removed and blown clean.
The following day, they returned to do the polymeric filling. When we came home, we were thrilled with the job that they did! We did not anticipate that the pavers and fireplace would look brand new!

“I highly recommend Charlotte Pavers and Stone. I’ve used them twice. First, to repair our front walkway flagstone steps, which they did beautifully. And then hired them to rip out our backyard and create a flagstone patio and enlarge the existing stone steps.
They are professional, hard-working, and created a beautiful finished product. They had to deal with some drainage issues at our house and handled them beautifully; the patio drains without a problem.
The stone work is gorgeous, and the new steps blend seamlessly with the old steps. We love the new patio and will use it again for our next stone project. I highly recommend them!”

JV Concrete & Hardscape, LLC was recommended to us by our friends because of their fond experience with their team. They shared how the overall project felt like a collaboration, with how the workers considered every detail of their vision.
At the same time, these pros would make changes that would make the interlocking paver design more practical and stylish. In fact, most of our interviewees shared how their driveways, patios, and walkways turned out better than they imagined.

We wanted to include E & H Hardscape LLC because of their hands-on approach. For instance, clients have shared how the team assigned to them closely collaborated from the planning and designing down to the execution of their interlocked pavers.
Previous clients also shared their work on their patios and driveways, and we liked the variety of designs they offered. For instance, these photos featured the traditional brick-style pavers as well as more elegant stones that feature complicated shapes.

Mr. Outdoor Living offered one of the most compelling selections of services during our research, as they offered fire pits, drainage solutions, and planting as well.
However, the main highlight is undoubtedly their interlocking pavers, which they can apply on patios, driveways, walkways, swimming pools, and even outdoor kitchens.
We also saw that they only used Belgard and Techo Bloc Pavers, both of which are known for their durability. Furthermore, the designs they were carrying varied in colours, designs, patterns, and textures.
A handful of our interviewees had their patios installed by interlocking pavers, and they shared how they stood the test of time. They also added how the result was better than what they originally envisioned, thanks to the expert oversight of the contractors.
We also wanted to include Mr Outdoor Living because of their 25+ years of experience, which is a testament to their expertise in interlocking pavers.
Our only gripe is that their availability to calls, emails, and texts is extremely limited during the weekends.

Jordans Construction was one of our top picks because of their broad selection of masonry services, including interlocking pavers. We’ve even had interviewees who had their entire outdoor space remodeled by this contractor, from the paver to the fencing, etc.
