We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Service Quality: I looked for roofers who use 24-26-gauge steel and durable factory finishes. I also checked their track record for proper flashing and sealing to help prevent leaks and water damage.

Convenience: I looked for companies that offer free inspections, flexible scheduling, and 0% financing when available. These extras make the roofing process easier and less stressful.

Value & Pricing: I compared companies with fair prices, usually around $10 to $20 per square foot installed. I also gave extra credit to teams that help homeowners apply for tax credits.

Reviews & Reputation: I read local reviews and looked for companies with ratings of 4.8 or higher on sites like the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. I also checked for consistent feedback about leak-free roofs and reliable service.

Accessibility: I chose roofers that serve neighbourhoods across Charlotte and work on different home styles. Companies with crane services for steep roofs earned extra points.

A leaky roof or old shingles can quickly become a bigger issue. If you’re considering metal roofing, finding the right contractor in Charlotte might seem like a lot to handle.

No matter if you need a new roof, a flat roof for your business, or fast storm repairs, it’s important to pick a team with experience.

Metal Roofing Charlotte is a good choice if you want a roofer with experience in Charlotte’s weather.

For starters, their metal roofs are made to handle strong winds, heavy rain, and hail.

Their energy-efficient metal roofs reflect the sun’s heat, which can help lower cooling costs during hot summers. If you prefer a more traditional style, they also offer metal roofs that resemble cedar shakes or clay tiles.

While metal roofing is their main service, they also install asphalt shingles and flat roofs for homes and businesses.

I also appreciate that they offer free instant estimates, making it easier to plan your project.

However, metal roofs usually cost more at first. They also need to be installed by experienced roofers to help prevent rust problems later.

Pros

  • Installs metal, asphalt, and flat roofs
  • Built for Charlotte’s weather
  • Energy-efficient with multiple design styles
  • Free instant estimates

Cons

Someone at work told me about this company because it has been his go-to for roofing for years and I needed metal roofing last month. He was right about how helpful, knowledgeable, and professional they were. Another thing I like about them is that they have all the supplies and materials they need. I would definitely hire them to put on my roof again if I had to.

One business owner we surveyed specifically chose them because their in-house sheet metal shop can fabricate custom parts on the fly.

Having this option avoids the typical wait times for outside suppliers, keeping the project on schedule while ensuring every piece fits the building perfectly.

The company is also certified by major roofing manufacturers, which helps guarantee that every installation is done correctly and meets all warranty requirements.

On top of that, they offer the RoofAdvantage 360 maintenance program and 24/7 emergency repair services, which is a lifesaver if a leak pops up without warning.

Just keep in mind that Davco focuses exclusively on commercial and industrial buildings. If you need a roof for your home, you will need to look for a different contractor.

Persistent and Dedicated Leak Repair

Thank You Dan Davis of DAVCO Commercial Roofing for your metal roof repair at the Carolina Fire Department.  We had to replace some insulation, and then mitigate a roof leak in the same area. The leak proved to be challenging and Dan and the DAVCO team came back over 5 times while allocating additional time, resources and sheet metal teams to mitigate the problem. Dan had stated that the leak would be fixed no matter how many times he had to come back and that the department would not be charged an additional amount.

Quality Flashing and Roof Work

We had Masters Roofing redo the flashing around our whole house and replace a metal roof over our front porch.  They also fixed an issue with our soffit on one side of the house.  The work they performed was done with high quality and the workers worked hard and were professional.  The sales folks were easy to engage and followed up with quotes promptly. It was a solid cost to value ratio.

Their baked-on finishes are built to last and even come with 40-year paint warranties. If you’re planning a DIY project

Their quick turnaround times are another draw, as they help keep your project moving on schedule. Another plus is their Mooresville location, which makes local pickup incredibly convenient.

Great Materials and Excellent Service

I had one of those carport companies bring and assemble a carport that I used as a tractor shed.Later decided to enclose it as a garage so I had concrete poured, and had Best Buy Metals bring the material for front, sides, and back. Good prices, service, and the color matched the existing color. I just went back to Best Buy and picked up some white trim to go around the doors. Very pleased with the project, thank you Best Buy! Great place to buy your metal roof and building materials.

Perfect Customer Experience and Quality

The team at Best Buy Metals are the best!  I had a perfect customer experience from start to finish.  They are knowledgeable, polite people and their material pricing is great. Material quality is top notch and finishes are beautiful. Highly recommend, I’ll be going back for all of my metal roofing needs.

Honest and Efficient Leak Repairs

Mark and his team are polite and honest. I had an issue with a power vent that was leaking and after we scheduled an appointment to get the wood removed due to the leaks, we found out that the power vent’s metal frame was entirely fragmented/broken off the power vent itself. They were able to remove it and replace the area with new shingles and decking in place of the power vent. Afterwards they were able to redo my rubber pipe boots on my roof as well to stop any remaining leaks entering my attic.
