Absolute gem
BSOM is a wonderful school of music with caring teachers and amazing opportunities to perform. My son grew up there and loved every minute of it! The owner, Connie, is an absolute gem, and our instructor, Madison, was not only a great teacher but also a true mentor. They genuinely treat you like family.

Highly recommended
I’ve been taking music lessons here since I was 13. 15 years later, this school is still one of the best places to learn any kind of instrument. The instructors are very skilled at making music understandable and doable for anyone. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn a new instrument or to better their skills.

Contact: 980-244-3113
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
If you want to build strong fundamentals on the violin, Virtuoso School of Music and Art is worth checking out.
The teachers here put a lot of focus on classical bow techniques and helping you create a rich, beautiful sound with disciplined, one-on-one lessons.
For younger kids, the lessons are fun and easy to follow, while adults like how clearly music theory is taught.
A parent we talked to said they really appreciate how much attention the instructors give to things like posture, since it helps students avoid bad habits early on.
You can also find plenty of helpful resources at the school for learning about instrument care, from tuning to taking care of the bridge.
Just so you know, this school is all about strings, so it’s not a top pick if you’re hoping for singing lessons. Also, their scheduling is pretty strict, since you can only reschedule twice per semester.

Accommodating
As an absolutely ZERO background adult learner on violin, my teacher Nataliya is utterly patient and provided great instructions. After a year, I can now play few compete songs and that make me extremely thrilled. Also the management is friendly and flexible regarding schedules to accommodate all sorts of unexpected events

Workshops are split by skill and age, so you’ll always feel right at home with your group. Advanced students get to try unique masterclasses and meet guest artists, which is a huge plus for broadening skills.

Good lesson experience
My beautiful daughter is taking violin lessons. She actually has Mr. Pat as her teacher, he is patient and funny. Mr. Pat, give me that 80’s nostalgia, which I absolutely love, when he plays the piano when she playing the violin… 🎻 me singing in the background “ don’t stop be’leiving🎶 loving in a lonely world…🎶it’s hard to meet authentic person like Mr. Pat. He was always a gentleman would always ask my daughter if he had to reach and show her something, was it okay, with her.
