Hours: Dog Daycare, Boarding & Grooming: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Early Drop Off: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM, Late Pick Up: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM); Bar & Park: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Saturday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Sunday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Juggling a hectic workday in South End is way easier when you’ve got trained pros to help with your pups.
Skiptown stands out because their walkers pass strict background checks and get more than 10 hours of hands-on training in pet first aid and animal behavior.
One client told us they set up midday visits for a busy week, and the real-time GPS maps and cute photo updates made their afternoons totally stress-free.
Their pricing is time-based, not by the number of pets, which means people with multiple dogs can save some cash.
The only thing to watch for is that arrival times are given in 90-minute windows instead of exact times. Also, there’s a $6 fee if you book or cancel after 6:00 PM the night before.

Love the dog walking service
Love the dog walking service. Had elderly friends watch my dogs while we were on vacation and combined that with the Skiptown staff coming in a couple of times a day to walk them. Everyone was happy! Dog park is always a hit too!

I also enjoy that the same few walkers walk my dog
I have been using skipper ever since I moved to Austin a few months ago. They have been magical. They have an in-home visit beforehand so that they can meet your pup and get to know the space. I also enjoy that the same few walkers walk my dog, so he knows who’s coming to walk him. It has been an absolute gem finding them!

2. Queen City Pet Sitting

Address: Charlotte
Contact: (980) 202-2745
Hours: Available 24/7
Long days at the office call for a familiar face your dog can actually bond with over time. Stacey Fisher, the founder and owner, established Queen City Pet Sitting in 2009 as a local, woman-owned business that has served the area for over 16 years.
They assign a dedicated, background-checked walker to your home so your dog never has to adjust to a rotating cast of strangers.
Their team easily handles extra tasks like giving oral medications, reinforcing basic training, and shuttling pets to grooming appointments. On top of that, their mobile app provides real-time GPS arrival logs and direct sitter messaging.
But before your first walk begins, you do need to complete an in-person consultation and meet-and-greet.

Our dog is so happy for the consistency
Queen City Pet Sitting and Dog Walking has been a great fit for us! They quickly matched us with Bridget, who started weekday daily walks with our dog. Our dog is so happy for the consistency and it’s such a relief for us to be able to focus on work. Bridget is wonderful with our dog and sends us a detailed report after every walk. QCP has been an excellent experience for my family.

An excellent service run by great people
I love them and my dog does too! Reliable, reasonably priced, and take a great daily photo of your pup on his or her walk. I’ve used them for a few years now, so there have been walkers who took vacation, left, etc. Payment is super easy with their automated system. Each person I met was better than the last. An excellent service run by great people!

I recommend Love & Kisses Pet Sitting
A friend recommended Maureen and her business to us and Michelle starting walking our dog when she was 10 weeks old!! They are reliable, always send detailed texts, and even, at the last minute, took our dog out for a late evening walk. I recommend Love & Kisses Pet Sitting to all friends who have pets!

We love all the sitters and the level of communication is outstanding
We have used Love and Kisses since we moved to the area 8 years ago for daily walks when we have to go to the office/school. The past 3 years they have watched our dog when we go on vacation. It is so much less stressful for our dog than going to a kennel, especially now that he is getting older! We love all the sitters and the level of communication is outstanding. Cannot say enough great things about Love and Kisses Pet Sitting!!

4. Paws on Pine

Website: https://www.pawsonpine.com/home
Address: 1615 Thomas Avenue
Contact: (917) 887-5221
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
High-energy dogs and sensitive rescues often struggle in crowded groups or hectic pack environments. Paws on Pine skips pack walks entirely, offering strictly solo, one-on-one neighborhood strolls led by an assigned Pet Specialist.
A close friend who uses them for her reactive shepherd raved about how calm and attentive their neighborhood-based walker is on every outing.
They run on flexible scheduling with zero binding contracts, making daily routine changes totally pain-free.
What’s great is that every walker passes rigorous criminal and background checks right here in town.
However, their primary coverage is limited to central areas like Plaza Midwood and Elizabeth. Additionally, they only offer 20-minute and 30-minute walk lengths without longer 45- or 60-minute choices.

My dog fell in love with her after the first visit
Heather is AMAZING! I have been using her for a lunch time walk for my dog for about 4 months now. She is so reliable, and you can tell she cares so deeply for all the pets she visits. My dog fell in love with her after the first visit! She always sends the best follow up recaps and photos, and I trust my dog with her completely! Would recommend herto anyone in the Charlotte area!

I would highly recommend Heather for dog walks
Heather is so awesome. I’m lucky to live close by and she has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions when I have asked for last minute walks. Heather has walked my slightly crazy yellow lab Guster a number of times, including getting him to go to the bathroom in the rain which is an actual miracle, fed him and given him water and has been so great with him. I also love that she sends me pictures from the walk! I would highly recommend Heather for dog walks and to stop by for checkins or food/water changes.

5. For Pet Sake Pet Sitting & Dog Walking

Website: https://forpetsakepetsitting.com/
Address: 5724 Courtview Drive
Contact: 704-364-7297 | [email protected]
Hours: Available 24/7
Trusting someone with your pet and your home feels a lot easier when the company’s been part of the local community for decades.
For Pet Sake Pet Sitting & Dog Walking has served Charlotte neighborhoods since 1989 and picked up four national awards along the way. Even vets and a former Carolina Panthers player, Julius Peppers, have recommended them.
What really sets them apart is that they’ll match you with an experienced caregiver who actually lives in your neighborhood. This makes things consistent and stress-free for your pet.
Besides regular walks, the staff can handle home chores like rotating blinds, watering houseplants, and even giving medical drops or injections.
Unfortunately, holiday visits cost an extra $5 on the main holidays, and canceling within 24 hours means you’ll still pay for the visit.

Now I have the best dog walker
I love For Pet Sake. I’d been so stressed about leaving my dogs alone after a work scheduling change. Now I have the best dog walker, Susan, who comes and takes care of my fur babies with a walk and treats and love. I get updates and photos every visit.

They are so kind, and loving to Vinny
We are extremely pleased with the services provided by For Pets Sake! We have used their services twice for our grand dog Vinny in the past month. Both women, Erin & Tess who have been responsible for Vinny’s care have been exceptional! They are so kind, and loving to Vinny, on time for each visit and they definitely go the extra mile with his walks, play time, feeding him and extras like watering our plants and bringing in the mail. We highly recommend for Pets Sake on every level. If Vinny could talk, he would too🐾💕 Melissa F.
