This helps ensure patients receive care from highly qualified professionals who are recognized leaders in the reproductive field.

Treatment Options & Technology: We assessed the variety and modernity of the laboratory services and family-building protocols offered by each facility.

Looking at options like genetic screening and advanced embryo transfer ensures the clinics stay current with modern reproductive science.

Success Rates & Outcomes: Our team reviewed the overall clinical performance history and tracking transparency of each provider.

We focused on clinics that maintain high standards of reporting to give families clear, honest expectations about their chances of success.

Supportive and caring fertility staff

Going to a fertility clinic is one of the most vulnerable and emotional parts of your life. Dealing with years of unknown answers and obstacles, the last thing you would want is to deal with an office where people don’t listen to you.

Luckily this office was full of the most supportive staff. My experience here was and (in the future) will be one that I would feel extremely comfortable recommending to a close friend or stranger.

Friendly and educational fertility support

We have had a great experience with Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas so far. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very educational, they take the time to thoroughly explain steps and protocols to make sure you feel comfortable with every step. Communication has been efficient, even with all the moving parts involved in fertility treatment.

Atrium Health Fertility Center features reproductive endocrinologists who are fellowship-trained and hold selective memberships in top medical societies.

Following these high standards, the clinic acts as a National Institutes of Health research site. This status provides local clients with unique access to advanced clinical trials.

Everything clients need is housed under one roof on Morehead Medical Drive, including a cutting-edge IVF laboratory and an andrology lab.

They also offer excellent holistic resources, ranging from specialized acupuncture to guidance from professional nutritionists to support physical well-being.

However, their strict weekday operating hours can make routine morning appointments tough for working professionals. And certain lead doctors require in-person visits only, limiting telemedicine options.

Pros

  • Direct access to NIH clinical trials

Cons

Inclusive and respectful fertility care

After a long and emotional fertility journey, I am incredibly grateful we found Dr. Taggar and her team.

My wife and I transferred to this clinic after receiving care elsewhere for over a year and from the very beginning, the experience felt different. As an LGBTQ+ couple navigating fertility treatment, finding a provider who makes you feel comfortable, respected, and truly supported matters so much and that is exactly what we found with Dr. Taggar.

Punctual, clear, and hopeful experience

This fertility clinic is night and day from our prior experience at another clinic. They are super punctual, questions are answered fully, communication is clear and timely & we are loving our experience with Dr Hurst. He has a kind demeanor but also sheds a little humor. We weren’t going to embark on another journey with a fertility clinic after a really negative experience we had but are grateful we have trusted Atrium Health Fertility and are very optimistic and hopeful to grow our family by one.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

Kindbody aims to simplify the overwhelming financial side of family building by offering upfront, bundled self-pay pricing and direct employer benefits.

Subsequently, the entire process is streamlined through an intuitive mobile portal. This tool gives clients fast access to lab results, scheduling, and virtual counselling to protect mental health.

They handle everything from introductory assessments to complete IVF cycles and inclusive LGBTQ+ surrogacy paths in one place.

Their beautifully designed Providence Road clinic completely avoids a sterile medical vibe. Instead, they opt for a warm, modern environment that helps lower stress.

I also like that they accept many major local insurance plans, making treatments highly accessible.

On the other hand, baseline packages don’t cover required medications or annual embryo storage fees. The initial specialist consultation is also billed separately from diagnostic testing.

Pros

  • Transparent upfront self-pay pricing schedules
  • Accepts major regional insurance plans
  • Comprehensive, inclusive third-party reproduction
  • Low-barrier entry assessment programs

Cons

  • Excludes essential medication package costs
  • Separate billing for diagnostic testing

Supportive and caring fertility journey

My husband and I struggled with infertility for five years before finding Dr. Cain and her team at Kindbody Charlotte. From our very first appointment, we felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Cain’s knowledge, compassion, and dedication gave us hope during a difficult journey, and her team was always responsive, kind, and encouraging every step of the way.

Professional and caring fertility care

I had a great experience with Kindbody. Dr.Cain  and staff were professional, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I truly appreciate their dedication and highly recommend them to anyone seeking fertility care

4. Connected-Fertility Monitoring

Website: connectedfertilitymonitoring.com

Address: 135 S Sharon Amity, Suite 208

Contact: (984) 253-3809 | [email protected]

Hours: Contact for availability

Connected-Fertility Monitoring provides an ingenious local solution for clients who want to avoid endless highway travel after finding an out-of-town specialist.

Founded by Dr. Heather Graham, an experienced medical professional with a deep background in obstetrics and gynecology, this clinic handles routine blood work and ultrasound scans right in town.

They also coordinate directly with primary out-of-town doctors, who continue managing comprehensive treatment protocols via telemedicine.

It’s important to keep in mind that this facility can’t perform full-service fertility procedures on-site. Clients have to travel out of town for major surgical procedures like egg retrievals or embryo transfers.

This means you should be comfortable managing communication between two separate medical teams.

Pros

  • Eliminates long-distance medical travel
  • Retain preferred specialists
  • Local ultrasound and laboratory testing
  • Founded by experienced  gynecologists

Cons

  • Requires coordination between separate teams
  • No on-site surgical procedures are performed

Quick, timely, and wonderful monitoring

Connected fertility monitoring has been a wonderful experience. I have used them for monitoring for an egg retrieval and for an embryo transfer. They are quick to respond to needs/questions and very timely getting results to your provider. Overall a great experience!

Easy and supportive monitoring process

We just “graduated” from our fertility clinic and I cannot say enough good things about Connected Fertility Monitoring. They made the entire process easy, were highly communicative, and quick to schedule and give results. Their early morning appointments made it easy with my work schedule, which was another huge perk. The entire team is welcoming, kind, and greets you with open arms regardless of where you’re at in your fertility journey. We are happy to be “graduated” but sad because we truly enjoyed the high quality care we received at Connected.

5. ConceiveAbilities

conceiveabilities

Website: conceiveabilities.com/

Address: 615 South College Street

Contact: (980) 880-6192

Hours: Contact for availability

ConceiveAbilities brings nearly three decades of dedicated experience in matching intended parents with egg donors and surrogates.

Their unique matching process focuses heavily on shared values and communication styles. This careful approach leads to a remarkable ninety-seven percent first-time match success rate.

Because roughly half of their team members have personally been surrogates or intended parents, clients receive guidance from people who truly understand the emotional weight of this path.

What I like most is how they provide intended parents with fixed, transparent pricing roadmaps to protect them from surprise legal or medical bills along the way.

Their network also links up smoothly with premier regional medical practices, ensuring clinical care is perfectly synchronized.

Unfortunately, their local office is strictly available by appointment only, meaning clients can’t drop in for quick questions. Their rigorous screening process also means not all applicant donors or surrogates will qualify.

Pros

  • Strong partnerships with premier local clinics
  • Fixed pricing models for intended parents
  • High initial match acceptance success rate
  • Experienced staff with personal surrogacy backgrounds

Cons

  • Local office restricted to appointments only
  • Highly rigorous applicant screening criteria
