Extremely grateful

After a lengthy search for a nearby music school, I was thrilled when I stumbled upon the Mike Graci Music School. Arda is teaching me guitar and Zack is teaching my son drums. Both of these guys are absolutely top notch musicians and teachers, who seem to truly love what they do, and have been such a gift to our family. We are extremely grateful for this music school!

Wonderful experience

We have had a wonderful experience with our 7 year old learn guitar here with GK! I love that he really tries to make sure my son learns things that interest him to keep him wanting to learn and practice.

Customer Reviews:

Highly recommend

We have taken lessons from Musicians in Motion for years, starting with in-home violin lessons. Currently my daughter is taking guitar lessons with Thomas at the south Charlotte location and he is absolutely wonderful. She can’t wait for her lessons each week and she is improving so quickly! I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable, incredibly patient

If you’re looking for a guitar teacher, stop your search here! Thomas is knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and he clearly loves what he does. He tailors lessons to what you want to learn and always encourages you, even when you fumble. He’ll make sure that you get into top shape with playing guitar, and also provides great time to just have fun.

The curriculum is all about rock and pop songs, and they group students by age and skill, keeping things safe and fun.

One student told us they gained confidence as part of a band, thanks to the school’s supportive vibe. She added that practicing in this group setting is a blast and motivates everyone to level up faster.

Great lesson experience

My son had a great time this summer all 3 weeks that he attended Rock 101.  His older sister went to school of rock as a teenager and did amazingly well.  I’m excited to be getting my 7 year old involved earlier.  He learned a lot and had tons of fun.

100% recommend

I absolutely love this place. The staff, is the very best and the feeling of being welcomed like family on day one is amazing!! Instructors KNOW their stuff and age is really just a number. The last time I felt this good playing an instrument I was 16yrs old. 100% recommend!!

Lesson lengths are flexible, so you can choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes based on what suits you.

Safety’s a big priority, too, since all guitar instructors go through background checks, giving younger students and their parents peace of mind.

Excellent instructor

I had a wonderful experience with this guitar instructor. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and very supportive. The lessons are well planned and focus on both theory and practical playing. They make sure each concept is clearly understood before moving forward. I’ve improved my technique and confidence significantly. The environment is positive and motivating. Overall, an excellent instructor I would definitely recommend.
